General Assistance is dedicated to serving the Cottondale, AL community by providing vital temporary emergency services to those in need. Through our program, we offer essential food assistance, including food bags, as well as clothing, baby items, and personal hygiene products. Our mission extends to providing financial support for utilities, obtaining birth certificates, tooth extractions, and select prescriptions, ensuring our clients receive comprehensive care tailored to their urgent needs. We welcome individuals to schedule appointments each Monday starting at 9am, as we strive to lift up our neighbors in Tuscaloosa County with warmth and commitment.
