Lynne Kilgore, LPC-S, embarked on her journey in human services in 1986 after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling from the University of Montevallo in Alabama. With a Master of Education in Counseling earned in 1994, Lynne became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2001 and is currently licensed in Alabama. As a board-certified supervisor, she passionately guides aspiring counselors toward licensure. Lynne specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, helping her clients transform negative thought patterns that hinder their ability to experience joy. In addition, she employs Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to further support her clients in their healing journeys. Her services encompass Individual Counseling for adults, children, and adolescents, as well as family and marital counseling. With a keen focus on a range of issues such as addiction, depression, anxiety, and more, Lynne also brings valuable experience in foster care and adoption matters. While the past may hold painful experiences, she believes that moving through fear and hurt can lead to acceptance and ultimately foster a sense of peace.
