Family Assistance Program

Located in Anniston, AL, the Family Assistance Program is dedicated to supporting low-income families with children under 18 years old or up to 19 years old if they are full-time students. Our mission is to provide temporary cash assistance that helps meet essential needs, ensuring families can maintain stability during challenging times. We offer critical financial support to help families navigate through difficulties while empowering them to work towards a brighter future. To access assistance, individuals should apply at the Department of Human Resources in their county. Please note that adult recipients can benefit from this program for a maximum of five years throughout their lifetime.
