Lisa Root

Dr. Lisa Root is a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals of all ages, from toddlers to adults, navigate life's challenges. Since January 2021, she has focused her practice on telepsych to ensure the safety and well-being of her clients during the pandemic. Lisa specializes in trauma therapy, child therapy, and family therapy, and is passionate about engaging with children in a nurturing environment. Her therapeutic approach includes solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, which she tailors to meet the unique needs of each client. With expertise in a variety of areas such as grief, gender orientation, and trauma, Dr. Root aims to support her clients in achieving alignment with their individual purpose in life. She is currently expanding her practice to include EMDR therapy, further enhancing her ability to assist those dealing with PTSD and grief. Dr. Root also addresses issues related to role identification, gender, and multigender specific concerns. Her ultimate goal is to empower individuals to function at their highest potential.
