Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Wainwright, AK, is dedicated to supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to foster healthy food habits through comprehensive nutrition education and access to nutritious supplemental foods. We also prioritize breastfeeding promotion and offer valuable support, along with referrals for essential health care services. At WIC, we believe that every family deserves the resources they need to thrive, and we are here to help every step of the way.
