Elders Program

The Elders Program in Valdez, AK, serves our senior community with a commitment to enhance quality of life through essential support services. We understand the unique challenges faced by older adults and offer a range of assistance, including caregiver training, case management, and durable medical equipment. Our dedicated team also provides consumer-directed personal care assistance (PCA) and respite services to ensure seniors receive the help they need. We focus on fall prevention and injury education, as well as offering guidance through Medicare and Medicaid assistance. With initiatives like the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and monthly elder food boxes, we foster community connections. Our program includes engaging events such as elder teas and potlucks, and we provide transportation services in the Anchorage area. Additionally, we advocate for the elderly, offering resource assistance and training in mental health first aid to empower caregivers and enhance the wellness of our seniors.
