Grant Program

The Grant Program by the American Children's Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) offers compassionate financial support to families in Unalaska, AK, whose children are battling cancer and to survivors within four years of remission. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens faced by these families by providing vital assistance for essential needs such as housing costs, living expenses, utilities, medical treatment, prescriptions, and transportation to medical appointments. We also offer help with funeral expenses and lodging when families must travel for care. Each request for assistance is carefully evaluated on a case-by-case basis, with decisions made depending on available funds and the specifics of the Benevolence Request Application. Approved requests receive direct payment to service providers, ensuring that families receive the help they urgently need during this challenging time.
