Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Unalakleet, AK, is dedicated to supporting the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers vital services such as nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals for necessary health care. Our mission is to empower families with the resources and knowledge they need to foster healthy eating habits and improve the well-being of their children during these crucial early years.
