In Trapper Creek, AK, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission encompasses providing essential nutrition education, offering supplemental foods to ensure families have access to healthy options, promoting and supporting breastfeeding, and connecting participants with vital healthcare resources. With a focus on empowering families through comprehensive support, WIC plays a crucial role in nurturing the health and well-being of our community’s youngest members.
