Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

In Toksook Bay, Alaska, the Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy food choices and nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to support families by providing essential services including nutrition education, access to nutritious supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and assistance, and vital referrals for health care. We are committed to empowering our community with the resources needed to ensure the well-being of mothers and young children, helping them thrive during critical early years.
