MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Toksook Bay, AK, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission focuses on annually screening every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, along with connecting them to personalized weight management options that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of resources, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer self-directed management. For Veterans facing persistent weight challenges, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
