Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Thorne Bay, AK, is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. We offer essential nutrition education, access to nutritious supplemental foods, and dedicated breastfeeding support to empower families in making healthier choices. Additionally, we provide referrals for health care services to ensure comprehensive support for both mothers and their children, all aimed at promoting better health and nutrition within our community.
