Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

In Talkeetna, AK, the Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits through comprehensive nutrition education, provide essential supplemental foods, and offer dedicated breastfeeding promotion and support. We also connect families to important healthcare resources, ensuring they have the support needed during these critical early years of development.
