MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Talkeetna, AK by providing tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity each year, connecting them with the appropriate resources and treatment options that align with their needs and preferences. We offer a variety of support avenues, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative in-home support through TeleMOVE!, ensuring that every Veteran can find a path that works for them. Additionally, the MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans who wish to manage their weight independently. For those facing ongoing challenges, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery when necessary. To begin your journey with MOVE!, please reach out to your local MOVE!
