The Alaska WIC program in Skagway is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. We prioritize essential food assistance by providing nutritious foods and comprehensive nutrition education tailored to the unique needs of our community. In addition to offering breastfeeding education and support, we connect families with vital referrals to other necessary services. Together, we aim to foster healthy food habits that empower families and strengthen our community, ensuring that everyone has access to the resources they need.
