Elders Program

The Elders Program in Savoonga, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our community by providing vital assistance with basic needs and a variety of supportive services. Our offerings include caregiver training, comprehensive case management, and access to durable medical equipment, ensuring that older adults receive the care they deserve. We facilitate consumer-directed personal care assistant services and respite care to support caregivers. Additionally, we prioritize fall and injury prevention through education and resources, while also assisting seniors with Medicare and Medicaid applications. Our Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) encourages engagement, and we host monthly food boxes, teas, and potlucks to foster community connections. Transportation services are available in the Anchorage area, along with advocacy, resource assistance, and specialized training for mental health first aid.
