The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Sand Point, AK, is dedicated to fostering the well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits and improve nutritional outcomes through comprehensive services including nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and vital health care referrals. We aim to empower families with the resources they need to thrive, ensuring a healthier future for their children.
