Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Noatak, AK, is dedicated to supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as their infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits through comprehensive nutrition education and the provision of supplemental foods. We also offer essential breastfeeding promotion and support, along with referrals to healthcare services to ensure the well-being of families in our community. By prioritizing the health of mothers and young children, WIC plays a crucial role in fostering a healthier future in Noatak.
