Elders Program

The Elders Program in Manokotak, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and health for our senior community members by providing comprehensive assistance and support services. Our program offers vital resources such as caregiver training, case management, and access to durable medical equipment. We facilitate consumer-directed personal care assistant (PCA) services and respite services to ensure seniors receive tailored care. Through fall and injury prevention education, we aim to empower older adults, alongside offering Medicare and Medicaid assistance, advocacy, and resource support. We also host a variety of community engagement activities, including the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), monthly elder food boxes, teas, and potlucks that foster connection. Transportation services within the Anchorage area further enhance mobility for seniors, ensuring they remain active and engaged.
