Cash Assistance

Located in Kotzebue, AK, APIA's Cash Assistance program is dedicated to supporting eligible enrolled tribal members who are struggling to meet their essential needs for food, clothing, and shelter while actively engaged in work activities outlined in their Individual Self-Sufficiency Plans (ISP). We understand the urgent challenges many face, and our mission is to provide accessible financial assistance to empower our community members. To qualify, applicants must demonstrate their tribal membership from Akutan, Atka, Agdaagux, Belkofski, False Pass, Nikolski, Nelson Lagoon, Pauloff Harbor, St. George, Qawalangin, Unga, or QTT, and reside in any Alaskan community or within the U.S. If you’re looking for support, please visit us to learn more about the application process and how we can assist you during your time of need.
