Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) program in King Salmon, AK, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to empower families through vital services, including nutrition education, access to nutritious supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion, and supportive referrals for comprehensive health care. By prioritizing the well-being of our community's most vulnerable members, WIC is committed to ensuring that every child gets a strong start in life.
