Elders Program

The Elders Program in Kasigluk, AK, dedicated to uplifting our senior community, offers essential assistance to ensure a healthy and fulfilling quality of life for older adults. We provide a comprehensive range of services, including caregiver training, case management, and access to durable medical equipment. Our program emphasizes personal care through Consumer Directed Personal Care Assistant (PCA) services and respite care, while also focusing on prevention education for fall and injury risks. We assist with Medicare and Medicaid applications and host the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) to engage and empower our seniors. Our monthly Elder Food Box provides nutritious meals, and we foster community connections through Elder Teas and potlucks. Additionally, we facilitate transportation within the Anchorage area, advocate for elder rights, and offer resources for mental health and wellness, such as Older Adult Mental Health First Aid Training and Gatekeeper Training.
