Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

Located in Healy, Alaska, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to ensuring that low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with their infants and children up to five years of age, have access to essential resources for healthy development. Through WIC, families receive nutrition education tailored to their needs, supplemental foods that nourish both mother and child, and comprehensive breastfeeding promotion and support. Additionally, WIC provides valuable referrals for healthcare services, making it a vital resource in the community for fostering health and well-being among the youngest and most vulnerable members of our society.
