Grant Program

The American Children’s Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) is dedicated to providing essential financial support to families facing the challenges of childhood cancer in Healy, AK. Our Grant Program is designed to assist families whose child is undergoing treatment or is a cancer survivor within four years of remission. We understand the financial burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis, which is why we offer much-needed help for housing costs, utility bills, medical expenses, food assistance, prescriptions, transportation to medical appointments, and even funeral expenses when the need arises. Each request for assistance is considered on an individual basis, and we strive to ensure that funds are allocated efficiently, with payments made directly to service providers on behalf of those we help. By focusing on the urgent needs of families in our community, we aim to alleviate some of the stress associated with managing a cancer diagnosis.
