Elders Program

The Elders Program in Healy, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors by offering vital assistance with basic needs and a comprehensive array of support services. Our mission is to empower elderly community members through essential offerings such as caregiver training, case management, and access to durable medical equipment. We provide personalized consumer-directed personal care assistant services, respite care, and education on fall and injury prevention. In addition, we assist with Medicare and Medicaid applications and facilitate the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). Our program also promotes social engagement through monthly elder food boxes, teas, and potlucks, while ensuring transportation and advocacy services are available in the Anchorage area. We strive to be a resource for our seniors, aiming to improve their well-being through support initiatives and educational training like Gatekeeper Training and Older Adult Mental Health First Aid.
