The American Children's Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) is dedicated to providing vital financial support to families navigating the challenges of a child's cancer diagnosis, as well as to cancer survivors within four years of remission. Based in Haines, AK, our Grant Program offers a range of assistance tailored to meet the urgent needs of those affected by cancer. Families can receive help for essential living expenses, including housing needs, utilities, and food, as well as medical expenses, prescriptions, transportation to treatment, and lodging requirements while receiving care far from home. Each request for support is thoughtfully reviewed on a case-by-case basis, ensuring that assistance aligns with the current availability of funds and specific medical needs. By directing our resources to service providers, we aim to alleviate the financial burdens faced by families, so they can focus on what truly matters—healing and support.
