Elders Program

The Elders Program in Haines, AK, dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our senior community, offers a comprehensive range of essential services tailored to meet the unique needs of older adults. Our mission is to ensure a high quality of life through practical support such as caregiver training, case management, and access to durable medical equipment. We empower seniors with consumer-directed personal care assistant (PCA) services, respite care, and valuable education on fall and injury prevention. Additionally, we provide assistance with Medicare and Medicaid, as well as transportation services within the Anchorage area. Our program also fosters community connections with monthly elder food boxes and gatherings like teas and potlucks. With advocacy and resource assistance at the heart of what we do, we strive to support our elders in living fulfilling and independent lives.
