Patches of Light is dedicated to supporting families in Gustavus, AK, who are confronting the dual challenges of catastrophic health issues and financial strain. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens these families face by providing critical financial assistance, including help with utility bills, housing support, gas cards, and grocery cards. To maintain confidentiality and ensure the integrity of our service, all applications must be submitted by hospital staff involved with the family, as personal communication from applicants is not permitted. We strive for a smooth application process; therefore, we encourage hospital staff to confirm the submission of each application via email, ensuring timely processing.
