Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

In Girdwood, Alaska, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to empower families by providing essential resources that include nutrition education, access to nutritious supplemental foods, and comprehensive breastfeeding promotion and support. Additionally, we offer referrals for health care services, ensuring that families receive the holistic support they need.
