Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) program in Fort Yukon, AK is dedicated to fostering healthier futures for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to empower families through nutrition education and access to nutritious supplemental foods that promote well-being. We also provide essential breastfeeding promotion and support, as well as referrals to health care services, ensuring that every family can thrive. At WIC, we are committed to building a healthier community, one family at a time.
