Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Douglas, AK, is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our essential food assistance services, we offer nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, and comprehensive breastfeeding support, along with vital referrals for healthcare services. Our mission is to empower families with the knowledge and resources they need to cultivate healthy food habits, ensuring a strong start for young children in our community.
