Elders Program

The Elders Program in Copper Center, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our community by providing essential support services and resources. Our program offers a comprehensive range of assistance, including caregiver training, case management, and access to durable medical equipment to address basic needs. We proudly provide consumer-directed personal care assistant services, respite care, and valuable education on fall and injury prevention. Our team is here to help navigate Medicare and Medicaid, while also encouraging community engagement through the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Seniors can enjoy our monthly Elder Food Boxes and social gatherings such as teas and potlucks, fostering connections among peers. Additionally, we offer elder transportation services in the Anchorage area, advocacy and support, resource assistance, and specialized training in gatekeeping and mental health first aid tailored specifically for older adults. We are committed to promoting the health and well-being of our elders with warmth and respect, ensuring they have access to the care they need.
