MOVE! Weight Management Program

Located in Chevak, AK, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and has access to tailored weight management services that meet their unique needs. We offer a range of care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer self-directed weight management. For Veterans who require additional assistance, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options if initial methods do not yield desired results.
