Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Chefornak, AK, is dedicated to fostering nutrition and healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through our comprehensive services, we provide essential nutrition education, supplemental foods, and robust breastfeeding promotion and support. We also connect families to necessary healthcare resources, ensuring that every child has a healthy start in life and that mothers receive the guidance they need. Together, we nurture the well-being of our community’s most vulnerable families.
