Urgent Need Program

The Urgent Need Program, located in Chefornak, AK, is dedicated to providing critical support for eligible patients facing financial hardships related to non-medical expenses. We understand that dealing with health issues can be overwhelming, which is why we offer financial assistance for essential needs such as housing, including rent and mortgage, utilities, childcare, elder care, food assistance, and transportation costs. Our aim is to alleviate some of the burdens our patients experience by ensuring they have access to the necessary resources during challenging times. While funding levels may fluctuate throughout the year, we are committed to supporting our community and encourage those in need to learn more about the assistance available through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
