Financial Assistance

Operation Family Fund offers vital financial assistance to eligible service members and their families in Chefornak, AK, through grants designed to support basic needs, medical care, home purchases, and more. Each grant is contingent on verification of a service-connected disability rating by a case manager, social worker, or doctor. While families can receive up to two grants, there must be a minimum of six months between awards. Currently, Operation Family Fund is facing an urgent need due to a significant volume of requests, and funding is limited because of reduced donations, resulting in a temporary suspension of new applications for the waiting list.
