Andrea Axelson understands the journey toward personal transformation can be difficult and at times emotionally challenging. She is dedicated to providing a safe and nonjudgmental environment, which is essential for nurturing the therapeutic relationship and facilitating meaningful change. With over 20 years of experience, Andrea has worked with individuals facing challenges such as Family Violence, Child Abuse—incorporating Physical, Emotional, and Sexual Abuse—as well as Depression, PTSD, Dysfunctional Relationships, Low Self-Esteem, Adjustment issues, and Anxiety. She takes pride in witnessing individuals overcoming adversity. Her eclectic therapeutic approach allows her to customize interventions to meet each client's unique needs. Andrea specializes in trauma, emotional and physical abuse, anxiety, low self-esteem, women's issues, domestic violence, interpersonal relationships, and PTSD. As a therapist, her mission is to help clients gain insightful awareness about what inhibits them from fully engaging in life. Appointments are also available after 5:00 p.m.
