General Assistance in Anchor Point, AK is dedicated to providing critical support to Alaska Natives and Native Americans within the Chugach Region, which includes Seward, Valdez, Port Graham, Nanwalek, Tatitlek, and Chenega. Our program offers temporary aid for essential needs such as shelter, food, clothing, and utilities, ensuring that those in the community can access vital resources. Local Community Health Representatives (CHR) are available to assist clients with the application process, helping to connect eligible individuals with the assistance they need and informing them of the program's benefits. Furthermore, we collaborate closely with the Regional 477 Program Coordinator to facilitate career and training opportunities, empowering individuals to build a brighter future.
