Elders Program

The Elders Program in Anchor Point, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our community through comprehensive support services and assistance with essential needs. We offer a range of services including caregiver training, case management, and the provision of durable medical equipment to help our elderly population thrive. Our program also features consumer-directed personal care assistant (PCA) services, respite care, and valuable fall and injury prevention education. Additionally, we provide crucial support with Medicare and Medicaid applications, organize the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), and deliver monthly Elder Food Boxes to ensure access to nutritious meals. Our community gatherings, such as Elder Teas and potlucks, foster connection and engagement, while elder transportation in the Anchorage area and advocacy help promote independence and well-being. Through resource assistance, access support, and training programs like Gatekeeper and Older Adult Mental Health First Aid, we empower seniors and their caregivers to navigate life’s challenges together with dignity and grace.
