@AutisticYouth
For me the physical part was rough, I experienced alot of discomfort and pain during my pregnancy, I just lived by the day but was totally worth it 💙🩷
@WendyBird14 i m sorry you had a rough phase i hope u are doing ok now n i wish u luck for rest of ur journey.
@AutisticYouth thank you for this insightful post!!
Really interesting topic!
@AutisticYouth this is absolutely helpful, I wish others' understood how difficult it is/ was to be pregnant. The biggest issue in the pregnancy community or in mom community is the others' not being receptive to the changes. I know that I didn't have very many when I was. Pregnancy is difficult and should be valued as not only a journey of beautiful change, but also respected.
tw: covid/pregnancy/thoughts/postpartum/changes of all kinds
Another thing to highlight, While I am on this subject. When I was pregnant with my daughter it was not only a rough time physically, it was a rough time mentally and emotionally. I was pregnant with her back when covid was big, so every difficult news I had to hear on my own. So, I had to carry a lot of strength, resilience and independence because her bio was not really understanding nor receptive to the changes. Society makes pregnancy look as if it is a trend, they do not imply or educate on the body changes or mental/emotion changes of what is to come during/after. One other thing that is hardly mentioned when it comes to pregnancy is Post-Partum, majority of women suffer through this alone because everyone has either called her "dramatic" or " over reacting"/ "crazy". Post Partum is never highlighted enough, like it should be. Mother's like myself should not have to feel like robots or superhumans when we have feelings too.
@InsightfulPhoenix i m sorry you had to go through all that n truly mothers shouldnt be made to feel as if they are robots they are humans too n their all feelings are valid, i must say you are very strong for coming so far!
