How I found 7CupsofTea
I wanted to find other like-minded people who wanted to discuss important topics in a meaningful, but respectful way.
I'm looking for thoughtful and honest opinions on a range of topics, even - perhaps, especially - those that differ from my own. But, I expect an equivalent open-mindedness from those with whom I communicate. Not everyone is prepared for that sort of discussion.
What I am not looking for are pundits who consider themselves expert in all matters or who are promoting an agenda, cause, philosophy or belief.
While I do have and cherish friends with whom I have such conversations, schedules don't always make such encounters possible.
Sometimes, one must look outside of one's immediate circle of friends.
You seem well spoken and someone I may be able to reflect upon personally. I consider myself an open minded person and someone who is fairly grounded. If you'd like, we can talk. :)
I actually found 7 cups of tea when I was searching for some support chatrooms online for myself. And after browsing through the site, I realized I wanted to become a listener, and here I am. :)
I was browsing the image website Imgur and someone mentioned in a comment that this was a go-to website for people who needed help
I found 7 cups of tea on tumblr, there was this post describing how useful it can be. The concept appealed to me so I decided to give it a go!
To be honest, i was looking for depression photos in tumblr and suddenly there was this page and I decided to enter to it, and I think it was the best decision i've ever made :)
I was looking for an online internship related to both Social Work and Psychology, and 7 Cups of Tea fit the description perfectly when I searched for it on Google
I heard about the site from my senior. I saw through the page to see if it was for me and later wanted to be a Listener. Even though I do not really have any communicatingskills :3
I was feeling a bit sad one night so i looked up "Depression Chat Room" on google and found this place. And now I come here whenever i get sad and also help people as a listener :)
I did exactly that half an hour or so ago. I always wondered if something like this existed . Though ive got great friends, they arent always open minded, 7 cups of tea is great!
I found out about 7 Cups of tea by looking at Internships.com when I saw it, I instantly had a good feeling about and I am so thrilled to know about this site. :)
