Hello, am new

robinvh April 22nd

My name is Rob, typical 20 year old college dropout and NEET with no friends or future. I'm here because I wanted to see if I could establish a new support group where I could take my mental health struggles without worry of burdening others and driving them away again. I like to draw, and not much else. I am a little overwhelmed by the site but I owe it to the people who were once in my life to try and better myself.

Hi Rob 😀. I just wanted to say welcome and well done for reaching out. I hope you find some great support and look forward to seeing you around. You mentioned you enjoyed drawing. Is there anything specific you liked to draw? I’ve always wished I could draw so do admire it in others who can 🌹

Hi Rob, I'm new here as well. I really do relate to your post, so I thought I would say Hi. If I may, I'd like to share what crossed my mind when I read this and why I felt you should know..

First, it's HARD being twenty years old. IMO dropping out of college isn't a big deal. If your future occupation depends on it, there's always time. You can't possibly know where your going if you feel lost within your self. Take time for yourself.

When I was twenty years old I was pregnant with my third child so your not doing as bad as you might feel like you are. You absolutely have a future. Feeling like you say you do, is a sign from your body and your subconscious that something isn't right. Take care and time to evaluate yourself and what you want for your life vs what others do. Your path is the one only YOU will live. So don't rush it, I did and I destroyed my life and the lives of the 5 wonderful children I had.

Secondly. I know everyone wants friends and I definitely do, occasionally. I have BPD so I can't really give advice on friends and relationships. I'm more of a warning label than anything else lol.

Third, you owe it to YOURSELF. And the fact that you have the self awareness at twenty to see yourself and want to correct and hold yourself accountable, is amazing.

Your welcome to reach out to me anytime. If not for any reason than to hear some very interesting things and learn what not to do 😊

Hii we can connect

@robinvh Hello Rob, I really relate to you so much and I'm sorry, I now how you feel and I know is so difficult to get over it, I send you a big hug from Mexico. I'm also 20 years old, dropped out of college 2 years ago and still in the process of see what to do with my life, I also love drawing and just doing anything with art related. I have some friends but not really closed ones, I don't really have such a strong connection with them, is just for hanging out and maybe also because I've been distant with them. I would really love to chat with you, if you want. I relate to you a lot.
