Flagged Forum Posts - how are they dealt with?
I feel like reports I have put forth are being totally ignored. I have flagged, filed a L-L report, messaged a forum mentor and emailed. I haven't heard anything back in response to doing all of these things.
What is supposed to happen?
I would at the very least like an explanation of a rule if the posts are seen to be totally fine because that's not my understanding.
If we do see something that's a problem in the forums how are we supposed to get it dealt with in a reasonable timeframe?
@wonderfulMagic99 i think there is a queue and they will eventually get back to you, you can also email communtiy@7cups
@optimisticDay8079 Unfortunately all off those things were ignored. I got confirmation that the flags were not in the queue any longer.
The issue was taken care of, but it took me PMing a few people, and that was after the flags, report and emial.
It's not the first time flags have been dismissed and an issue just glossed over. I hope would the safety aspect would be taken more seriously, one shouldn't have to escale a problem in multiple different ways for it to be handled on a site such as this.
@7CupsCommunity
@wonderfulMagic99 I'm sorry to hear that but I am glad that the issue was addressed
@wonderfulMagic99
Thank you for ping, I will forward this concern to the subcommunity leadership team so that we can stay on top of forum flags.
Thank you for the upvote. Am going to tag the subcommunity leadership so they can reply as well.

I recently flagged a post myself. Flagged it and messaged a community mentor and the harmful post still remains. Over 12 hours currently. It seems to me that it shouldn't take so long to have something like this taken care of. I'm worried about this member's reaction if they see this post and had hoped it would be handled within a reasonable amount of time but so far nothing. Surely it shouldn't take so long.
