If you can tune into your purpose and really align with it, setting goals so that your vision is an expression of that purpose, then life flows much more easily

  • Jack Canfield

I use to say if you take care of me, I’ll take of you, now I say, I’ll take care of me for you, if you take care of you for me.

  • Jim rhon

I have learned that to get out of life what I expect, I must commit myself to beginning each day by concentrating on positive thoughts and focusing on my goals."

  • Les brown

The more credit you give away, the more will come back to you. The more you help others, the more they will want to help you.

  • Brian Tracey

Don't worry about failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don't even try.

  • Ralph Emerson

If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself.

  • Henry Ford

I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death.

  • Leonardo da Vinci

Life is like riding a bicycle, in order to keep balance you have to keep moving.

  • Albert Einstein

The quality of your life is the quality of your relationships.

  • Tony robins

Practice, Utilize, and keep it consistent.

Honor the struggle, when you are tired, rest, but when you are up, be diligent and concise.

Push through the pain, and heal, than push through again until you are through.

Always consider, nothing is impossible, and where there is a will there is a way. Be firm and steadfast, unwavering and determined. There is more understanding in suffering than in false laughter.

Lean on the friendship, brotherhood and fellowship. All the way.

I never liked mantras really.

It might be a slight repackage of many anyway, so maybe it's the story attached (stormlight archive). But i do actually kinda like the immortal words of the knights radiant as far as mantras go. Enough that I've even seen myself unironically reaching for it when low from time to time.

Life before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination.

I don't hate the concept of mantras. Just that many really annoy me and seem to border on victim blaming, suffering fetishism, vaguely insulting/self superior, and very often at best are super individualistic and not really useful for building in any kind of positive for systemic change or collective action and just end up really depressing.

But this one does work for the individual, but mor so as a culture where it's accepted that everyone is vulnerable sometimes, and in those times those who are strong should do what they can to protect them. And it it acknowledges the struggle, but incorporates all the parts of life back into that (including but not fixating on the positives).

And it just hits me way differently than most mantras ever have

@radiantfox

Than those are not mantras, Mantra originates from Sanskrit, it is a form of affirmation, but instead of saying it a few times, mantra encompasses a repetitive affirmation, this is key to all success, progress and overcoming struggles.

Mantra is also a form of unison, what good is a affirmation if everyone around you disagrees or are going in another direction, this is akin to ants, there is no one ant, you have harvester ants, red ants, bullet ants, they get more done when they are utilizing the purpose of their own colony, if they are trying to move a stone, they utilize their worker ants, not the leaf cutter ants, they are purposely in a state of mantra to deal with a certain task, goal or job, if you mixed up fire ants, leaf cutter ants all in the same place, they will not get a lot of task, mantra is different from affirmations because there is a cooperative state of unison.

Mantras are also a form of chants, as most songs are, they sing together not against each other, if the whole band is singing their own lyrics the bands message wouldn’t get through. Affirmative affirmations in that sense would be a one man band, no singer makes it to be great solo orchestrating the whole thing, there’s need to be collaborating, thence the difference between affirmation and mantra.

@radiantfox

Jim rhon didn’t like affirmations either. Because it can turn into delusional, saying 10x that you’re happy when end result you are not, Jim was for affirmative action over anything, basis things off of results not expectations, Brian tracey also confines how to get results by consistent practice in action, routines, and disciplines. But even Brian said that the more you say you like yourself you like yourself, you like yourself, you are building up your self respect and confidence, in order to fluently tackle the issues. Laws of attraction. Thence if you like yourself, this will attract others to like you, if you don’t like yourself, this will not attract others and will repel them. So it’s good to do affirmations and mantras on positivity, and to affirmative actions. For the man who thinks he can and thinks he can’t are both correct.

Both affirmations and actions go hand in hand. So does mantras…

A mantra (from Sanskrit: man- "to think" and -tra meaning, tool) literally means "instrument of thought." Originating in ancient India out of Vedic Hinduism, mantras serve a variety of functions and are especially popular as aids to meditation and devotion.

Speaking out in affirmations is thence a tool to unblock timid or still voices, if you think it, it’s just a idea, or dream, if you speak it, it becomes a possibility, and if you do it, it becomes reality. Thence I do not think you know what a mantra is.

Mantra is a speaking to existence something, in repeating affirmations. I am, starts the desire, I can, acknowledges the process and I will is doing it.

Thence the Nike slogan puts out the greatest lines that follows it, just do it.

I am knocked down, it i get back up.

i get rejected, I say next.

I have a boulder in my way, and I make like the ants, I go under it, if I can’t go under I go over, if I can’t go over I go around it, if that fails I call other ants and I move that betch out of the way.

Never give up. There’s always a way. If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.

Dont have to be extreme, just consistent, dont have to be grim, just serious. If i am sad, be sad, if i am suffering, be suffering, it is better to admit these things and adjust them and improve their states, than put on fake smiles and or a clown.
