How do I add a picture to my description in my profile?

You can do so by copying the link of the picture, and then clicking the link button in between the underline and size option when you click to post to the forums. Then, paste the link into the URL bar underneath link info, and then click okay. You can also drag and drop pictures if you're using a desktop!
