my thoughts on the world, how it is, how it could be, if only.

runawaycreator January 6th, 2021

This isn't poetry-- I don't know much about the subject, either.
This isn't a summary of all my thoughts on this topic. Some things here I only partially agree with.
This isn't pointed at specific people, but all of humanity as a whole.

Decide for yourself what it is, should you choose to read it.

I know everything is a matter of 'time'.
High school, college, work force, career.
New environment, intense rigor, money grappling, life-dedicating.
People continue this stupid cycle because it's been given to them.

Different moments are perceived as 'time' by humans, but everything occurs at once.
The closer you get to perfection as a being, the closer you get to understanding the 'true' nature of 'time'.
Only a 'god' can perceive time perfectly as it is-- all at once.
All-seeing, all-knowing, all-creating, all-controlling.

It's really all the same no matter what.
Any 'god' that may have been is gone.
We all used to grapple for 'god's' perfection, but now...
We grapple for our own treasures.

How stupid does that sound?
They're all yours to begin with-- why are you so desperate to obtain them?
People are so busy and loud to achieve what they've made for themselves.
Won't they realize that it's a pointless chase?

This man-made farce is getting us all killed.
Why can't we move on from ourselves and see the bigger picture as a 'god' once may have?
People are so self-absorbed, it's pathetic.
Now the few people that see this are being called 'pathetic' right back.

Is it really so important to be important?
Value is only what you make it, nothing more and nothing less.
We've created this world for ourselves, and we can't seem to abandon our own thoughts.
Our own ideology has been deemed 'perfect' by the ones who made it, and 'flawed' by the ones who dislike it.

Now, there are no more available careers for thinkers.
It's only the 'doers', those that go along with the vicious circle of human creation.
We can't have a place in this world, anymore?
Without us, you wouldn't have a place either.

We should be rethinking how we live, but now humans are cowards.
They think it's better to stay in this cycle than explore new opportunities as an intelligent race.
Maybe all animals were once intelligent, and now we're the only ones left.
Humans are quite the declining species.

Maybe, this is just me venting my confusion about how to choose a career and a lifestyle.
I'm sure it'll have a different meaning for you.

@runawaycreator

Thank you for sharing your own opinions and reflection over the world and the human race. I believe choosing a lifestyle and a career path, a living path and scope depend on each of us' interests and beliefs.

It is amazing to see how different we all are and how incredibly diversified are our beliefs, isn't it?

I do hope you find what you are looking for soon! I really do. :)

Well done for finding the courage to share such an interesting perspective! It takes a lot of bravery to open up! ❤️
