What is the best thing that happened to you recently?
It does not have to something huge. It can be anything, as long as it made you happy.
The best thing that happened to me recently:
I went out for a walk this morning and saw the sunrise. It was a great way to start the day!

The best thing that happened to me recently was one of my daughters flew in from Kansas and her and my other daughter that lives locally, my son-in-law and my grandson celebrated my 60th birthday with me. It was great!! I had been feeling very lonely and isolated and I felt so much better after spending some quality time with my family.
Being able to tell my mom about my breakup and I didn't cry.
as a conservative mom, just like any other in my country, what happened to me, what I did for my relationship wasn't a wise choice but I believe it was. And the moment she asked me, I was able to tell her in general and she didn't have any strong negative feelings about what I have done. I'm grateful of her understanding for this situation. And we have talked for more than an hour and we laughed, which I rarely do with my mom. I'm grateful that my mom tried to understand me, guide me and support me for my breakup.
Had some free time to spend with my friends. The whole pandemic situation was quite challenging, and the tendency was to forget about how important are the social relations for the well being of a person. So I just set meeting my friends a top priority for me as well as for my mental health. I started to feel better 🤗
Finding out I'm pregnant!
Love myself and embrace peace of mind.
The recent thing happened to which made me happy is that I realized that the "me" I loved never disappeared. It just got buried inside of me because of all the tough times I was going through. But, now I have begun to take care of myself and I actually put in the effort to love myself again and become the best version of myself.

Aw, the way you said this really inspired me! Sometimes it's important to remember that our strengths are like stars -- sometimes we can't see them through the clouds, but we will see them shine again. Keep pushing through

Being able to help someone feel better. It has also helped me to grow mentally and make better decisions and trust my intuition
Being told that I wasn't a lost cause.
