Topics to talk about
How can I find something to relate to people when talking to them. Any suggestions?
@KevinRodriguez Weather, hobbies, books you have read, movies you have watched, TV shows, ect. The list of topics are endless.
@KevinRodriguez I once was dating someone who really struggled to make a conversation. I looked up get-to-know questions and “would you rather” questions.. It helped us open up and get close to one another! And then it lead to a long and healthy relationship!! Hope that helps/encourages!! :) <3
@KevinRodriguez I believe the most important are the topics you should rather NOT tried to talk about with someone you didn't know well - like politics, religion, money or disabilities.
You can, for example, ask a question like: What is your favourite kind of music? You can praise the artist if you really know his or her songs, and really enjoy them. But if you have no idea about some band, you can ask a person to tell you about it. People usually bloom when they can discuss the things they like the most.

I think sometimes the basic questions are the best, like the ones made in the other comments on this forum but also sometimes people dont have a lot in common and its really important to learn from each other in those moments and conversations, and that can be equally as lovely.
