Support and help your family and friends that has mental health issues
I would like to talk about how to help your loved ones who have any mental health issue. I have wanted to do this for a long time but haven't found the best way and now I have newer ideas.
When you have mental health problems, your psychiatrist doesn't give you instructions on how to take care of yourself with the medication. Also, the person sometimes doesn't know what is going on or why they have the mental health issue. Also, people don't treat them fairly at all and play with their minds.
That's what happened to me when I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia.
I would love to help anyone with their questions so you can take care of your family or friend.
You're right, mental health care often focuses on diagnosing and prescribing medications, but there isn't always enough guidance on how to manage the emotional and practical aspects of dealing with mental health challenges day-to-day. Loved ones may not always know how to support someone through those struggles, and sometimes, people with mental health issues can feel misunderstood or dismissed.
