New and looking for friendship
Hi, I'm a 43 year old female living in Canada. I'm introverted and have always had a small group of friends. Over the past year or so, the group has gotten smaller. My goal is to connect with like minded people and to not get lost in a feeling of loneliness.

always open to making new friends. I’ve grown to be comfor in loneliness as I don’t exactly have friends.
@starryeyedsloth I was wondering if we could be friends here at 7cups? I am open to being friends with you, if you want a friendship here at 7cups. We could chat here in the forums if you like, or in the Adult Member chatrooms here at 7cups. It is is up to you. No worries, if the chatrooms is not your thing. I understand this. I also understand if you do not want to be my friend here at 7cups. But, I thought, I would ask and see, what happens. You do not know, until you ask. So I am asking. A little bit about me, I am a male and I have a learning disability and I do not drive. I am a retired listener/leader here at 7cups. I have been at 7cups for 4 years, almost 5 years. It will be 5 years in Jan of 2025. I am a leader on the Adult Member side at 7cups. I love being in leadership here. I also love supporting others here. When I was a teenager, I suffered from anxiety and depression. I am doing much better now. As an adult I support and help others. I love it.
I started out here at 7cups, back in 2019 as a listener, then shortly after that, I became an approved listener, then after that I went into leadership. My very first roll, was in Peer Support from there, I switched from the listener side of leadership, to the Adult-Memberside of leader ship. I was a room supporter, then after being a room supporter here at 7cups, I became a Chatroom Mod. Then after becoming a Chatroom Mod, I became a room mentor, then Support Team Leader. I do not have any pets. I graduated from high school, in 1994, with a gpa of 2.995. I love music, meditation and mindfulness. I was a singer in both the high school and Jr high school choirs. I sang Bass.
